This cafe-tattoo studio hybrid is such an interesting concept—combining the charm of a quaint cafe with the creativity of a tattoo studio. I had the pleasure of getting a tattoo from Jane back in August, and I must say, the entire experience felt like it was meant to be. Despite contacting her only 24 hours before my arrival in Taichung, I was lucky enough to secure a last-minute appointment through LINE. Jane is incredibly meticulous and detail-oriented when it comes to her work. I gave her full creative freedom to design my tattoo, and I couldn’t be happier with the result—it perfectly captures her unique style, which I’ve admired. Throughout the session, Jane’s warm and friendly demeanor made me feel completely at ease. Not only did she create a beautiful tattoo, but she also recommended fantastic local spots to visit, from night markets to hidden gem restaurants, making my time in Taichung even more memorable. Jane also provided excellent advice on tattoo aftercare, suggesting quality products that ensured my tattoo healed perfectly. The studio itself is well-ventilated, with a fantastic sound system that plays a great selection of music, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The space is impeccably clean, cozy, and beautifully designed, making it a true feast for the eyes. I also have to mention the adorable cats that roam the studio/cafe—they’re such a delightful addition and add to the overall charm of the place. I can’t wait to return for another tattoo (and coffee!) whenever I’m back in Taichung.

The owners of Somesay lnk.Coffee are our friends. We love to hear their stories behind this adorable tattoo and coffee spot. Their decor is artsy and cozy with plenty of greens. It’s perfect for a casual afternoon or a memorable moment with tattoo designs. We got their Flavored Latte, Apple Land Americano, Chocolate Chip Cookie and Canelé. Both drinks were delicious and refreshing, especially the Americano. Their cookie was perfectly recreated from Levain which is one of the must-eat cookie spots in NYC. It’s sinful but satisfying, crunchy outside and gooey in the center. The canelé was also decent with chewy texture and crispy layer.

1/11第一次來訪~ 咖啡廳內座位不多，但環境舒適，播放的音樂讓人覺得心情很舒服自在，擺設也不會過於浮誇，剛剛好的美感，而且老闆娘親切又很有氣質，印象很好！ 餐點的部分，點了蜜桃蘋果茶、抹茶拿鐵，還有原味可麗露，三樣都很優質！ 蜜桃蘋果茶的香氣十足，果香襯托茶香，兩種香氣融合的很讚！且甜度也剛剛好，喝起來很順口 抹茶拿鐵的濃度和甜度也都很剛好，旁邊那位先生一下就喝掉半杯了哈哈哈 可麗露需要退冰，大概等了30分鐘，但完全值得！真的太好吃了~外皮焦糖香味很足，脆脆的口感也很讚，裡面蛋糕體的軟硬濕潤程度非常非常剛好，一口接著一口停不下來 整體來說，覺得是一間CP值很高的咖啡廳！價格都不貴，但做出來的品質都很高有機會要再訪！

This is a unique and special shop. While you sip your coffee, you can watch the tattoo process through the large, beautifully designed windows. This is art! And of course the taste of the coffee and sweets is the best and professional. Everyone, please come and visit the shop with two beautiful women and two cute cats. Situated adjacent to a tree-lined roadway (Yude Road), this quaint café could be easy to miss! Enjoyed the signature iced nitro orange espresso and soft baked choco cookie. The space also doubles as an inking studio behind the counter. Interesting combination to me!
